There are so many business groups - why join this one?

Yes, I do agree there's many business groups out there these days. Why I wanted to start the Entrepreneurs Sydney group is because there was a need among the small business community to mix with other like minded business owners.

Sydney is a huge place for small business. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed and find yourself going to business meeting groups - yet still not connecting with other business owners and sharing your story.

You then come home wondering why you went out don't you?

What's more some business meetings are ‘so stiff and formal’ it’s a real wonder to understand if any business networking gets done at them.

On the other hand you've no doubt heard from some business owners who have been dragged along to a business meeting only to discover they got the hard sell to offer referrals - or they found they were "locked out" due to being the fifth financial planner on the member books and they were not accepting any more applications.

Okay - Why do we join up?

We want to be encouraged, motivated and inspired. We want to meet others of like mind and we want to be accepted as a part of a group where we look forward to seeing our fellow members again and again during the year.

Plus if do all that right, the business should follow right?
